It's been a long time since we killed Yogg Saron, so I thought I'd put our latest achievements on the front page for all to see. So here goes,

We have

- Cleared Trial of the Crusader (both 10 and 25man)

- Cleared Trial of the Grand Crusader on 10man - netting ourselves the [A Tribute to Mad Skill] achivement for clearing it with fewer than 5 wipes.

- Killed Northrend Beasts in heroic 25man coliseum

- Obtained Val'anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings for our dedicated Holydin, Finalflasher - well deserved.

- Killed Algalon in 10man Ulduar. He no longer feeds on our tears.

- Obtained some Rusted Proto Drakes for completing [Glory of the Ulduar Raider]

So its been a good couple of weeks, and we're all looking forwards to some more progression and the upcoming Icecrown Citadel raid.

It's been a long time coming but after a massive effort by everyone in the guild Yogg-Saron has finally been defeated.


This clears Ulduar with the exception of Algalon in time for the next content update and the implementation of the new VoA boss and the Coliseum which I'm sure will fall before the might of Deathsworn!

Due to the unstable servers on patch day we only got 3 days in Ulduar this week but we've made the most of it by downing a new boss every night!

Last night is was the turn of XT-002 Deconstructor who thought we'd be her playthings but after a few attempts we soon got bored of her tantrums and put her to bed for the night.


As it was getting late we decided to skip Ignis and head towards Kologarn who certainly appears to be a fun fight. As the night drew to a close we managed to drop him to 68% but then a server restart forced us to break the raid earlier than expected so he still remains a goal for this coming week.

Deathsworn returned to Ulduar last night and started off by continuing our fight against Razorscale. After a few close attempts where we hit the enrage timer she eventually went down and dropped a nice legendary Fragment of Val'anyr which went to Finalflasher.


Moving on we headed to XT-002 Deconstructor and got her to 28% when she hit the enrage timer so a few more tweaks there will see her fall before us soon.

It's been a while since I've posted any news on the front page here which is mostly my fault for shattering my shoulder the weekend before we started raiding WotLK and missing out on all the first boss kills.

However, this week Ulduar was released and after having to abort our first night of raiding there due to server instability we headed back again last night and started off by dropping the Loot Leviathan on our second attempt (would most likely have been our first except for a ninja pull leaving people outside and him resetting to 100% health when we had him to 70%...)


After dropping the Leviathan we gave decided to prod Razorscale with sharp sticks (which she didn't like much) and managed to drop her to 65% on our best attempt of the night so it looks like she's going down soon... watch this space.
